Paso Robles' KPRL Radio Station covered PRHS's great accomplishments at the SkillsUSA California State Competition. We are proud to announce that we received gold in the Career Pathway Showcase Competition for Health Services and we are advancing to Nationals in June.

Hannah Lowry

Hello! I'm Hannah! I'm currently a senior at Paso Robles High School and a Health Science and Medical Technology Pathway Completer. I play on the varsity soccer team and my dream career is to be an orthopedic surgeon. 

Q: Why did you want to start this program?

A: "I wanted to help start this program because I think athletes are severely  uneducated in potential head injuries. A little knowledge could be lifesaving."

Tiahna Merwin

Hey! I'm Tiahna! I'm currently a freshman at Cuesta Community College and a Health Science and Medical Technology Pathway Completer at Paso Robles High School. My dream career is to be a certified registered nurse anesthetist. 

Q: What three words would you say describe Brains Before Gains? 

A: "Useful, Educational, & Supportive!"

Maizie Ross

Hi! I'm Maizie! I'm currently a senior at Paso Robles High School and a Health Science and Medical Technology Pathway Completer. I play on the varsity volleyball and basketball teams and my dream career is to be an orthopedic physical therapist. 

 

Q: What do you love about your Brains Before Gains team?   

A: "My favorite thing about my team is their collaborative effort. No matter the situation, we're able to get things done and come to a consensus."
