our mission

Brains Before Gains is a program dedicated to informing and EDUCATING high school athletes, coaches, and parents on head related injuries, primarily focusing on concussions. We want athletes to know of what brain injuries they are at risk for and understand evaluation, diagnostics, protocols, and treatment. Attendees should complete our presentation with a better understanding of what injuries they could sustain and outlets of help/ways to report. We believe SAFETY in youth sports is a top priority and we are determined to spread awareness and INFORMATION to all athletes. Brains Before Gain’s goal is to end every presentation knowing we helped ensure safety in young athletes and have encouraged athletes to speak up about their injuries. Our program is devoted to spreading AWARENESS . . . not fear.
